WISE Foundation is a Non-Profit 501 (C) (3) Organization that manages, dispenses and coordinates scholarships and grants for students and teachers of Warren County R-III School District.
Since its inception, the WISE Foundation has granted over $25,000 to teachers and departments throughout the district. Grant requests are submitted by teachers and are then evaluated. The amount awarded depends on the amount of funding that is available. Some of the projects funded over the past years include Guided Reading and Intervention sets for Rebecca Boone Elementary, Guided Reading Sets for Warrior Ridge Elementary, pottery wheels for the high school art department, inventory for the Warrior Stop Store and Black Hawk Elementary and a set of books for the Daniel Boone Elementary guidance counselor. Future grants will be awarded in the same way.
Through the classroom grants and student scholarships, the WISE Foundation strives to support as many students as possible. The primary benefactors are the Warren County R-III students, whose educational experiences and opportunities are enhanced by the projects and scholarships that are funded by the organization. While these improved educational opportunities are mainly beneficial to the students in the district, the entire Warren County R-III Community will reap the benefits and rewards of supporting and enhancing the education of its young people.
