Dr. Gregg Klinginsmith Joins the R-III Family
The Warren County R-III Board of Education is pleased to announce that they have offered the job of Superintendent of Schools to Dr. Gregg Klinginsmith. Following a thorough search process, involving appreciated input from the community and staff, the board of education is confident that Dr. Klinginsmith is the best candidate to lead our district. Dr. Klinginsmith is returning to Warren County R- III after serving as the assistant superintendent of curriculum, instruction, and assessment in the Wentzville School District. Prior to his time in Wentzville, Dr. Klinginsmith was the assistant superintendent for the Warren County R-III school district for 4 years. Dr. Klinginsmith has been in education since 2001 and has been a curriculum coordinator, an assistant middle school principal, and middle school teacher.
A native Missourian, Dr. Klinginsmith graduated from Carthage High School before attending Westminster College to receive his bachelor’s degree in middle school education. He earned his master’s degree in education administration from William Woods University, and his doctorate in educational leadership from Maryville University.
Dr. Klinginsmith and his wife, Rebecca, have lived in the Warren County R-III school district since 2011. They have two sons, Miles and Will. Miles will be starting kindergarten next year in the Warren County R-III School District.
There will be a ‘Meet and Greet” on Thursday, December 14 at 4:00 p.m. at Warren County R-III High School in the Commons for those who would like to meet Dr. Klinginsmith. Students, parents and staff are invited to welcome Dr. Klinginsmith to the district. Refreshments will be provided.
