Our District

Welcome to Warrior Nation

Warren County R-III School District is proud to be educating the students of Warren County for the 21st century.

Warren County R-III Schools have experienced significant growth over the past five years. Although the recent downturn in the economy has slowed growth, we have every indication it will speed up as the economic conditions improve. As a district, we are committed to maintaining a friendly atmosphere more commonly found in towns much smaller than Warrenton. At the same time, we are equally committed to ensuring that the students who attend our schools receive the education they need to compete academically and financially after graduation. Through fiscal responsibility and community support, we will continue to work together to ensure all children in our district receive a quality education.

Warren County R-III Schools are a point of pride in our community. The district has graduates attending colleges and universities across the country, and opportunities are available for students to receive specialized vocational and technical training. The district is equally proud of those students who enter the workforce or serve their country by joining the armed forces. We are members of the Gateway Athletic Conference. As such, we compete with schools in St. Charles County, Troy, and Washington and use those larger districts as our reference point for comparisons. We have a lot to be proud of in our district.

Please be assured that as our community and school district continues to grow through the coming years, one thing that will not change is the Warren County R-III School District’s commitment to our students, staff, and community.

With an enrollment over 3,000 students, the Warren County R-III School District occupies the western two-thirds of Warren County and covers 200 square miles. Warren County is one of the fastest growing counties in Missouri and our projected enrollment over the next decade indicates that we will possibly double in size by 2020. The Warren County R-III School District is a past recipient of the “Accreditation with Distinction in Performance” award.

In April 2006, voters approved an $18 million bond issue to build additional facilities. Warrior Ridge Elementary School was built. A new cafeteria and a classroom wing were added to Rebecca Boone Elementary. A new 19 room addition was added to Warrenton High School, including two new computer labs.
