The Warrenton High School Guidance Department offers a variety of services related to course selection and enrollment, testing, post-secondary planning, scholarships and much more. Guidance and counseling is an integral part of Warrenton High School’s total educational program. Guidance counselors are assigned to all high school students. The counselor is available to help the student overcome any academic or individual problems. The counselor will support and help the student in planning their high school coursework to meet the present and future needs of the student.
WHS counselors assist students in developing realistic educational and career plans based on an understanding of themselves, their needs, interests, skills, and the realities and possibilities of the worlds of education and work. Students and parents are invited to contact a counselor with any concerns, ideas, and requests for assistance.
