Jump Rope for Heart
Parents,
As many of you know, February is Heart Month, in honor of heart month and the number 1 cause of death in Missouri; we are supporting the American Heart Association with Jump Rope for Heart/Hoops for Heart. Our Jump Rope for Heart/Hoops for Heart event ends on March 4, 2011. Students can participate by utilizing the envelopes already sent home or by visiting www.heart.org/jump or www.heart.org/hoops .
This is a great opportunity for you and your child to join the fight against childhood obesity, diabetes, and heart disease together.
Thank you for your continued support – our school, PE program, and community all benefit greatly from your efforts.
This year our students raised approximately $5200.00 for the American Heart Association.
