Student Handbook

Dear Parent/Guardian:

WELCOME to the Warren County R-III School District and Rebecca Boone Elementary!  We are glad that you and your child will be joining us for an exciting and educationally enriching school year.  Our incoming 5th grade students have chosen the theme for the 2011-12 school year which is:  “Team Up For Learning”.   We want every child to be successful while attending our school.  We will all work together as a team to make that happen.

This handbook was created for your personal use.  In it, you will find general information about our school and various district policies.  Please read it carefully with your child as the school year begins and use it as a reference throughout the school year.  Many questions which you may have about school attendance, transportation, food services and other items of interest to you are outlined in this handbook.  Once you have read it, we ask that you sign the attached form located at the end of this handbook to verify that you have read and understand Rebecca Boone Elementary procedures.  Of course, if you have any questions, feel free to contact the office at 456-6904 and we will be happy to assist you in any way possible.  You may also visit the district website at www.warrencor3.org where you will find information on our school as well as the other schools throughout the district.   We want everyone to feel at home and welcomed at our school.

School is one of the most important aspects of any child’s life, and we ask you to join us as a valued partner in this exciting and rewarding endeavor.  By working together, we can build a strong partnership to ensure the success of each and every child who enters our doors.  Your child and their future are extremely important to us, and we look forward to providing those opportunities for your child to prosper, learn and grow.
