Summer School...
June 4th - June 28th
Summer is right around the corner and it is time to start thinking about attending summer school. The district will host summer learning opportunities for students in grades K-8th grade and 9-12th grade. Below you will find some important information and more to follow at a later date.
DATES: June 4 through June 28
LOCATION: Daniel Boone, Black Hawk Middle School and High School
Times for K-8 will be 7:45 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.
Days- Monday through Thursday
Location- Daniel Boone Campus and Black Hawk Middle School will host summer school for K-8 grades
Times for 9-12 will be 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Days- Monday through Thursday
Location- High School
Credit Recovery and PE will be offered.
TRANSPORTATION: Transportation for K- 8 will have modified stops. Please check back for more details. There WILL NOT be transportation for high school summer school.
LUNCH: There WILL be breakfast and lunch served. (Students may also bring their lunch)
ATTENDANCE: High School attendance is very important during summer school; one day equals more than one week’s worth of work during the regular school year. In order to get credit for summer school, students can’t miss more than 1 day a semester or 2 total days for the entire summer school program.
