PLC's Focus

The Warren County R-3 School District recognizes Professional Development as an essential component to the process of student learning. A Professional Learning Community (PLC) is an extended learning opportunity to foster collaborative learning among colleagues in our school environment. Staff members are encouraged to continue their professional growth and are supported in those efforts. We place a high value on "learning for all" and are committed to the success for all students.

The Warren County R-3 School District provides professional growth by:

-- Planned in-service programs and workshops offered periodically within the school district.
-- Release time for attendance at conferences, workshops and educational meetings
-- Develop and oversee a mentor training program
-- Identify district-wide instructional concerns and strategies
