Welcome to the Wonderful World of Kindergarten at Daniel Boone Elementary! The beginning of a new school year always brings excitement to students, parents and teachers alike.
You, as a parent are excited about the many new experiences your child will have. Your child, of course, is excited about buying new school supplies, meeting new friends, and learning about reading and writing. We, as teachers are excited about all the possibilities that this school year brings!
Before this year begins, we would like you to take a minute and think about your expectations for kindergarten. Now, jot them down and put them away until May. Our promise to you (no matter what your expectations are) is that your child will leave kindergarten feeling successful!
As the year progresses you will be amazed as to how much they have learned, the skills they can apply in their daily life and their love for learning. By working together, every child WILL be successful!
