Summer School...

June 4th - June 28th

Summer is right around the corner and it is time to start thinking about attending summer school. The district will host summer learning opportunities for students in grades PreK-8th grade and 9-12th grade. Below you will find some important information and more to follow at a later date.


June 4th through June 28th

Daniel Boone and Black Hawk Middle School

Times for PreK-8 will be 7:45 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.
First day of summer school is June 4th, 2012
Days- Monday through Thursday
Location- Daniel Boone Campus and Black Hawk Middle School will host summer school for PreK-8 grades

May 30th through June 28th

High School

Times for 9-12 will be 7:30 a.m. - 2:40 p.m.
First day of summer school is Wednesday, May 30th, 2012
Days- Monday through Thursday
Location- High School
Credit Recovery and PE will be offered.

 

TRANSPORTATION: Transportation for K- 8 will have modified stops. Please check back for more details. There WILL NOT be transportation for high school summer school.

LUNCH: There WILL be breakfast and lunch served at no cost to the students. (Students may also bring their lunch)

ATTENDANCE: High School attendance is very important during summer school; one day equals more than one week’s worth of work during the regular school year.  In order to get credit for summer school, students can’t miss more than 1 day a semester or 2 total days for the entire summer school program.
