About Mrs. McCulloch
Hello! My name is Jamie McCulloch, your child's first grade teacher! I would love to take the opportunity to tell you about myself. This is my seventh year teaching first grade at Daniel Boone Elementary. I love teaching first grade! I live with my husband in the Wentzville area and we have one dog named Apollo. I have my Masters Degree in Educational Administration from Lindenwood University.
I believe that learning to read is a major factor in the success of your child’s academic career. First grade is very critical for learning to read. Therefore, I encourage you to please support your child by reading to him/her at home, or by listening to them read daily. Practicing their sight words also greatly impacts their reading success.
I want you to know that I am here for the education of your child and will work to the best of my ability to help your child succeed in first grade. I hope to make this a very positive and rewarding school year. If at any time you are concerned about your child’s progress or have questions please feel free to contact me. You can do so by sending a note with your child, calling me at 636-456-4311 ext. 5205 or by e-mailing me at mccullochjl@warrencor3.k12.mo.us. I will make every attempt to contact you as soon as possible. By working together as a team your child will achieve success.
~Mrs. McCulloch
