Attendance is Important for School Success!
Regular attendance in class is an important factor to a student's success in school. An integral part of the learning experience is the interaction between students and teachers. One indicator for success is good school attendance. Attendance is based upon all days when school is in regular session. One way we look at attendance is calculated through Average Daily Attendance (ADA) which is used to determine the 95% attendance requirement. This is how the district receives money from the state. Another way we calculate student attendance is the 90-90 Attendance Goal: we want 90% of the students in attendance 90% of the time. This is how the district is graded to receive district accreditation under MSIP 5.
Warrenton HS's attendance rate for 12/04/2013 was 92.23 and 90-90 attendance rate was 80.05
Black Hawk MS's attendance rate for 12/04/2013 was 94.14 and 90-90 attendance rate was 86.81
Daniel Boone's attendance rate for 12/04/2013 was 96.69 and 90-90 attendance rate was 90.04
Rebecca Boone's attendance rate for 12/04/2013 was 95.96 and 90-90 attendance rate was 88.18

Community Letter MSIP 5
Under the State's accreditation process, know as the Missouri School Improvement Plan (MSIP), school districts from across the state will be provided as Annual Performance Report (APR). The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education annually collects and analyzes data for the performance standards as part of the accreditation process. APR requires the District to meet a stringent set of academic requirements in five key areas. Theses requirements include a review of the district's academic achievement subgroup achievement, college and career readiness, attendance and the graduation rate.
